Champagne falls from the heavens. Doors open. Velvet ropes part. .

It cooks better (keeps heat steady and uniform), lasts much longer, is stick resistant, can be used in a oven and dishwasher, and is 5 ply and will basically last forever. The main advantage you will notice is how well it conducts heat and cooks the food. If you like cooking and don't want the drawbacks of cast irons, this is a great set.

I would expect either the stock to sell out quickly, or the price to return to $899 soon. When it dropped this low last year, it was very short-lived.

great savings but what makes these much better than regular pots? Any recommendation for sub 100 cook sets?

Hum $100 a piece for a set that doesn't include a 12in seems high. If you have a Marshalls near you check there first they often have 12in all-clad 5d for $75-99 along with the pots for $99. They even had the copper bottom versions for $120 last time I went

I have one All-Clad pot and love it. I don't have the extra cash sitting around to buy this set otherwise I would.
