Best Smoker for the Money ! The ones with windows are nice for the first 15 minutes of a smoke then they steam up and become smoked covered in time that they no longer serve the purpose of a window.

I have the old version from a slickdeal about four years ago and I love it. The only part I've had to replace is the wood chip tray. It rusted out, but I think that's because I tried to use wet wood chips.

I'm not crazy about the chrome racks, as they rust pretty easily. I ended up getting two of these stainless racks to use instead. They don't slide into the rack slots, as they are slightly too big, but they fit on top of the rack mounts. Just throw them in the dishwasher and they come out clean.

I've had the older model for about 4 years now it's a nice little smoker I plan on getting the slightly larger 40" model next year. If just starting out it's a nice beginner standalone smoker

This is a great deal - purchased for 147 a few months ago and couldn't be happier. I can definitely recommend this model unless you need something really high end. Great price point.

great product. smoked a 14 lb. (before trimming) brisket in one this size last weekend. little tight but they cook down. no problems and the meat was excellent. no need for a window and the remote is a novelty. a meat probe is nice though. this is an excellent price.

Two of you mentioend rusting, were the smokers left outdoors or is this something that happens over time? Thanks!

Been wanting to get a grill Kamado (thinking the Char-Griller Akorn). This is half the price, but thinking of getting into the charcoal game. Decisions, decisions...

I've got a Smoke Hollow liquid propane smoker with a window and couldn't agree with you more. After cleaning it once, I concluded "what's the point?"

This is a great first smoker for someone wanting to explore the craft.

Has anyone made beef jerky with this baby? I have a dehydrator and it turns out pretty good, but it doesn't make a ton and I'm sure this would make more flavorful jerky.

Bought this the last time it was on SD and I couldn't be happier. I'm a first time smoker and it's literally set it and forget it. Made ribs last weekend using the 3-2-1 method and they were amazing
