Before the TD trigger happy have a field day, please take a moment to read the post, or at a minimum read the TL;DR at the bottom

This applies to anyone who plans to buy an iPad pro, is or wants to be on Verizon network, and keep using data for 2 years.

This is not a deal, per se, according to some since this is everyday pricing, but I am posting it here, since it shaves off $100 for anyone who meets the criteria listed above.

From what I was told by the chat rep, selecting the 2 year installment option doesn't reflect the $100 off but it will be credited in the first billing cycle.

This also provides 24 months 0% financing without a hard credit pull (for existing customers).

There are 2 feels to be aware of:
- $30 activation fee (which would be $40 if you BYOD)
- $175 early termination fee

TL;DR: Save $100 if you plan to get LTE iPad and plan on being on Verizon data plan for 2 years.

what the heck, why would anyone want to be on-contract for a $100 subsidy? note that typically you should receive a $450 subsidy just for going on contract, since your device line access fee goes up when you are in-contract (from $20 out-of-contract to $40 in-contract).

either:

$779 + $20/month and month-to-month
or
$679 + $40/month for 24 months ??!?!!

Are these numbers plan specific? I'm on the XL plan, and I get charged $10/month to add an iPad on my plan-no other fees.

So essentially, I'm getting a $100 discount on the retail price, and furthermore the device payment is being spread across 24 months.

I have it in a written chat which was emailed to me. I asked twice and it was explicitly stated the discount will be applied. If it's not, and they just don't budge, I'll return and re-buy under the contract price, since there is no restock fees.

I'll post screenshots momentarily.

Its actually a 1 time $40 activation fee for a tablet new line or upgrade. I've also had activations waived before as it was a pending offer so check into that. I work for Verizon lol.

The $100 is for contracts only. If you purchase an iPhone on device payments with it you will receive a $150 BIC.

We do not have a $40 line access anymore. If you currently do, you must have been on the More Everything Plan, went out of contract after the 2016 Verizon plans hit, or have an old plan. If you change the plan it goes to $20 for any phone as "month to month". Tablet lines are $10/monthly on contract or out of contract, UNLESS, you are on unlimited which they'd go to $20/monthly.
