BeatsX Earphones $99.99 @ Best Buy + Amazon

Best Buy is currently having a sale on BeatsX Earphones for $99.99 (down from $150)

Target, Walmart, and a few other major retailers will price match Best Buy, in case you want to have a longer return period (30 days) instead of Best Buy's 14-day return period.

Edit: I'm not 100% sure on how many days Walmart's return period is for headphones but I know that Target is 30 days.

Amazon.com [amazon.com] now has these for the same price!! Thank you madhaxer

I haven't owned either so I can't really provide any input. I read a lot about both and I decided to get the BeatsX mostly because of the W1 chip and all the benefits it brings (super fast connectivity, stronger wireless connection) as well as the "Fast Fuel" charging technology where you can get 2 hours of battery just by charging for 5 minutes.

P.S. the W1 Chip benefits only work if you have an iPhone

I'm going to pick up the BeatsX today after work.

Those are the reasons why I bought this model. Also because it charges via lightning port. Sound quality (which is always subjective) is about average. Not as bass heavy as the PB3. Soundstage is not great and i find it to be treble heavy but only with low quality but rates.

Overall would you say they have been good? I heard some people claim that it doesn't have the best sound, but it's decent enough. And the other benefits (W1 chip benefits) make it worth it.

I guess it really depends on how you plan on using them. I bought the beats x and the Powerbeats 3 and I ended up returning the Powerbeats. I go on ocasional runs and the beats x work just fine for that. I felt the Powerbeats never really fit correctly even after trying all the ear tips it came with. They always felt loose as if they were going to fall out ( but they never did and probably never would) and they don't create a seal to noise isolate. The beats x fit great, sound great, noise isolate, and in my opinion look better and can be worn anywhere no matter where you are and how you are dressed. The beats x suited me best, I hope this helps.

I did not try Powerbeats but after seeing some reviews in YouTube went with beats x for the same above reasons and I love it. Thanks for the information.

I'd avoid Jaybird. Had the x1s and had to have them replaced a couple of times, even got an upgrade to x2s (which had to be replaced as well). Logitech took over and now will not honor previous warranty, so stuck with broken x2s. The fact that they needed to be replaced so many times should speak for itself. Was never hard on them, something happens that they had to be jumpstarted (would only turn on while plugged in) before going out completely. Plus, the only safe way to charge them is via laptop so they wouldn't burn out from any other plugs- not worth the hassle.
