This system can't be beat for couch co-op. I've lost count of how many times me and my kids went through SM3D. I'm tempted to get another at this price myself.

I already own one, but I would recommend anyone that wanted to play Breath of the Wild just buy this system, unless they really need to be able to play it on the go....but for playing it at home, it runs just fine on the Wii U....plus Wii U has a great back catalog at this point, and its going to be a while till Switch catches up....

Not easy, not hard. Just follow the steps and you're set!

Needs an SD card, Computer, and may want to look into an external harddrive for more games.

PM me if you need more info.

I think this is a great system, but too steep in price for me... obv they're not making anymore and haven't been for some time, so deals would probably be few and far between

thumbs up

for $175 there are enough decent games to justify the purchase (zelda, donky kong, mario kart, zombi u, lego undercover, super mario 3d etc)

If you invested in Nintendo in last couple years, it's a small condolence. But if you haven't bought unit yet admittedly, why bother. Given price of gamepads, this is decent backup for a library of Wii/Wii U games.

I just like Mario kart, have the Wii no (Wii u) and I guess I was expecting more from the switch

Pretty good price considering it will eventually just fall off in existence at retail and the collector value of this system will be high. possibly more than Dreamcast since it has a nice library of games plus you can hack it to run and install emulators which would make virtual console moot. you can literally just take the disc drive(that's what it is), plug it and your remote tablet will play everything. some people can just take this in a small shoulder bag like when traveling and plug to play on the go. the NS is obviously better for that but this thing can be hacked to run emulation on the go.

Like others have said, excellent system for couch co-op (really enjoyed New Super Mario Bros U & 3D World). Also, I believe you can homebrew easily. My wii is homebrewed, so haven't bothered with the wii u, but I think the process is similarly easy. Great for playing old nes and snes games. Tempted to buy this as a gift...

Great deal, was 200 earlier this year when I grabbed one. Many excellent games still available for 20 bucks or less new. To whoever said this was overpriced, what are you talking about?
