Just bought this along with the bestbuy 2 year protection/warranty from geek sqaud. I purchased the warranty from bestbuy because I saw quite a few people having troubles/problems with their units and I believe jaybird no longer has liftetime warranty of their products but i'm not 100% sure. Here is a link to their updated warranty page.

You're a fool if you don't buy an easy warranty with this. On my 3rd and it's only been 6 months. Huge quality control issues.

Also, the bluetooth range is pathetic.

Thanks, you just saved me from buying these. I'll just stick with my Beats X headphones.

isn't spending $99 on a poor quality Bluetooth headset foolish enough?

pretty sad that more than half the reviews on Target are from reviewers who were given free samples.

for the price of 1 jaybird, you can buy 5 urlhasbeenblocked cheetah s for the whole family.

I would not recommend .. actually im about to be on my 4th set in ~6 months ... i use them at the gym and they always have issues with 1 bud cutting out / being low (likely due to sweat)

Sad to hear the X3 isn't as good as the X2. I'm on my third set of X2s in 4 years and each time jay bird replaced them no questions asked.

I consider upgrading every time I see these deals for the X3 on here but I'm probably better off using the X2 until they stop working and jaybird stops sending me free replacements.

And it should be noted I use them about 5 times per week at the gym.

I would go for the Freedom! had the x2 for 3 month, apart from they r too huge for my ear and fell off when I running, it couldnt charge after 3 months. Call customer service and sent me a Freedom as replacement. so much more comfort and battery last much longer

Liked my x2 much better. The bluetooth range on my x2 is much better than the x3. Also, the propritary charge sucks.

I too had a pair but then took them back after the battery started to drain completly in about three hours after using them steady for two weeks.
I've also been using a pair of Taotronics that cost a fourth of the price and have been great in range, sound, and battery life.
