General pointers I have found, after a brief Google search is:
1) Safe to drink cold, non-acidic drinks out of.
2) Not dishwasher safe
3) Copper poisoning is very real.

Sooooo... if you typically drink cool, non-acidic drinks, you should be fine.

However, if you like to:
1) gnaw on your cups, and typically chew on the edges
2) regularly drink a lot of highly acidic (i.e. soda) drinks.
... then these mugs might not be for you.

I bought these in February, when they were 2 (4 mugs) for $25. They're gorgeous, and much more durable than the other sets of "pure" copper mugs I have. I'm not sure how this is achieved - clearly either these out the others have an undisclosed alloy - but the upshot is, they don't tarnish nearly as easily as the others do.

Are they safe to drink out of? The ones I saw at Home Depot had a liner in them, and said that the liner was there to keep toxic heavy metals from leaching into the drink.

According to this, it isn't healthy or unhealthy.

But a study did find that leaving water in a copper vessel kills off bacteria.

That's my reason for getting these cups. Before penicillins were discovered the anti bacterial movement was focused on using copper.

won't the ginger beer used for Moscow Mule be a problem in that case?

How are these still a thing? Are there really that many secret Moscow Mule drinkers?

I got these for the same reason, but the instructions say not to leave liquid in them for extended periods of time for some reason. Maybe they do have a lining, but I don't think so.

These are not dish washer safe (though I haven't tried). I haven't noticed a liner, but I believe mine chipped where the handle meets the cup, so there may be some kind of coating on it? But it appears to just be copper, and it tastes like it's just copper.

Instructions say not to leave liquid in them, but I often leave water in them 12 hours or so and they're fine.

Be careful. Even though they specifically state 100% copper I ordered a set off amazon that looks and said the exact same. And they were 100% not copper. Likely steel with a copper color coating. You can tell when outer coating starts to fade and the inner layer is greyish in color. Real pure copper would only turn green after oxidation.
