Damn! I'd be all over this if there was a Cabelas near by. One of the better deals I have ever seen here on SD. The knife is a damn fine looking Kershaw Scallion and worth $40 alone. Who knows it might end up a collectors item. You are getting the gun for $50 bucks and while far from be a fine engineered machine with a polished fit and finish from what I have always read the thing just works and keeps on working even when abused.

Wow the knife is a kershaw scallion that sells for $30-$40.
I was expecting a cheap POS.

This is a really good deal.

There should be no transfer fee since Cabela's is selling it to you. No idea about background check fee though, that's state dependent I believe.

Last time I checked the transfer fee is waived if you buy it directly from them. If you buy it somewhere else and have it shipped to them to do the transfer it varies by location, but more expensive than standard.

How's it work if I want to transfer back to a different state. It appears to me they won't even sell it to you. Am I missing something? Can I purchase and get a FFL dealer to do the paperwork here and show up with at Cabelas and take it?
