Smart Bulb - Cree BA19-08050OMF-12CE26-1C100 Connected 60W Equivalent Daylight (5000K) A19 Dimmable LED Light Bulb - $12

Works with Samsung SmartThings, Wink, etc.
No proprietary hub required.
Lowest price on CCC and an overall great deal. (High was $26, average ~$20)
This is even cheaper separately than the 6 pack current price.

Tax/shipping cost may depending on State/Prime membership, etc. Mine was $0.75 per bulb which I got back $1 digital credit for.
(Are there any states that are still tax free from Amazon directly?)

Problem for me with these deals for me is I don't have very many A19 bulbs at all anymore. They are either recessed lighting or candelabra. Very few fixtures take A19 anymore.

if you're renting in NYC, almost all of the apartments have those landlord specials... or boob fixtures as some like to call them

edit: but this price sucks since you can get adjustable temperature a19 for similar pricing from Ikea

exactly, and no proprietary hub is needed with these... have a wink or ST already? good to go. compare this to a Hue or GE equivalent, they are 3x as much (At lowest)

one of the best smart bulbs in my opinion. reasonably priced and works with wink.

Pro: reliable, fast response, dimmable, and stays connected with wink even after power outage

Con: not RGB

It's too bad that makes the lights look hideous.

Annoying how the product listing says "works with Alexa," misleading newbies into thinking it doesn't also require a Wink or SmartThings hub.

Most candelabra are recessed in light globes and the converters actually extend the bulb end out further making the light more usable. If the whole bulb is outside like a actual chandelier style light fixture then yes I agree with you.

I hated the intermediate base bulbs as they are so much more expensive than the candelabra or regular base. Use he converters and problem solved along with better light dispersion.
