How do you buy without membership? www.costco.com [costco.com] keeps asking me for membership number.

DVI I believe...which is dying if not already dead.

EDIT: My bad this is the one with DP1.2, good deal.

Understood with the DP on this monitor but I don't think I've seen hdmi @ 120hz in practice. Was just curious

Tried to get Amazon, Office Depot, Staples, Newegg, and Walmart to price match but none would budge. I tried to avoid the membership surcharge and or taxes. Regardless this is a steal considering the specs. By calling Newegg, this is below their cost.

What's the return policy on this in case the monitor is not to my liking?

Man, this so darned tempting. Not really sure what else I'm looking for in a gaming monitor since I don't think I'd take that much advantage of 4K or other higher resolutions without sinking a few hundred more bucks into my GPU...

Yes, provided your HDMI out supports it. I forgot the exact HDMI spec required (1.2? 1.3? 1.4?) but my friend uses it with his Lenovo Y50 (with the 860M) and it can do 120 Hz. Don't remember about 144 Hz. My other gaming laptop can't (if I recall right) because my HDMI version wasn't new enough.
