Saw it in a Costco in central NJ a couple days ago. Located right after the laptop section. An older version of it sells for $54 on Amazon [amazon.com]. This newer version has two 2.1 amp USB (the old one has one 2.1A, one 1.0A), and my kids said there's no high pitch sound from the two I bought, unlike what people complained of the old one online. It's very bright at highest setting and had multiple dimmer/light setting + 3 speed fan. Model # SL9066. # on receipt is 1041303 (not sure if that's SKU, I thought SKUs are usually 6 digits?)

I also bought this highly rated LED lamp [amazon.com] before and it had nothing on the Costco one (and it cost me $24 at Amazon prime day sale lightning deal. Cheaper now but just saying that anything new coming out would cost more). The Costco one has 3-speed bladeless fan (reasonable wind, a little noisy but no more than usual fans), two 2.1A USB vs one 1.0A I think, and you can adjust the LED of the Costco one on all 3 axis while the other one only 2 axis. Plus the Costco one looks way cooler. The only shortcoming is that the base is not heavy enough, and if it wobbles it seems to auto shut off. During normal operation it's no issue whichever angle you adjust the lamp to, but if you try fiddling with it when it's on, it could shut off when wobbled too much.

Online people also complained about some of the older version die quickly, being this is sold in Costco, that's not a real concern. Just save your receipt.

A great deal for sure. I think I'm gonna buy a 3rd one this weekend if it's not sold out yet.

I thought this thing was cool too when I saw it pop up in the store a few weeks back but don't buy it for the fan - it's a gimmick and doesn't really push out any real air - I doubt it ll do much considering the average distance between someone's seating position and the placement of a desk lamp.

If your goal is to use this fan and not use A/C at all, then it won't work. But as supplemental (like use it in a room that's hotter than others despite A/C, like the 2nd floor rooms) cooling method it works fine. But I agree that fixed angle of the fan is a pity.

I just bought this thing and it's awesome. The fan doesn't do much as far as cooling, but it is great for white noise in a cubicle. Regarding the turning-off-while-wobbling issue, I found that too at first. You just have to push the power cord into the base of the lamp pretty hard until it clicks. Then it is fine.

I too the previous version, sans fan, and love it. Had bought 2, went back to buy ore at $29, and they were out. So this time I bought 4! For $29.99, you can't do better. I love the "fan" sound, as it's white noise in a noisy environment. And I love the options for light. I highly recommend.
