Audible - The Great Courses - 2 for 1 Credit!

+20 Deal Score
6,555 Views
Audible is running a sale right now. 1 credit buys 2 audiobooks from The Great Courses series. [audible.com]
Note that not all of the audio books from the series are part of this sale, but there are some excellent, and otherwise pricey, selections available.

Also, given that you must have credits, it means that you must have an active Audible membership.

Last month I finished the book "Critical Business Skills" (31+ hours), and thoroughly enjoyed it. So I stocked up on 4 more today! This is a great opportunity for anyone that got in on the free 2 credit promo a couple weeks ago to get several of these for free!

The Selection Includes 250 Titles!

Topics Include:
- History
- Science
- Language, Literature, and Writing
- Business and Economics
- Health and Self Development
- Philosophy and Religious Studies
- Arts and Culture

Without a currently active Audible membership, I can't see the offer. Trying to figure out if it is worth it to sign up for a month. Could anyone publish the list of available courses?

There are 250 titles included.

If you had some specific courses you were interested in I could check those.

Hot Deal. The Great Courses are the best, and at 2 for $15, this price is silly low. I've listened to nearly 100 of them over the years. Many of them are over 20 hours long (that Critical Business Skills course is 30+ hours). A few duds mixed in, but more fabulous professors than I can name here.

I checked my local library Overdrives first and they have only 5-10 of the Great Courses books.

We used up our two credits from the free trial yesterday getting four books on this deal. Great deal because we probably would've used those credits up for just two of the Great Courses instead of four when I cancel the trial.

I love the great courses. It's the reason I joined Audible. Audible constantly pushes PC titles which I could do without, but I stay with it simply because of the GC. This time I ordered Critical Business Skills (as a gift - it has very good reviews) and Sacred Texts of the World.

My favorite recent title on Audible was Life Among the Savages which was Shirley Jackson's comedic autobiography of raising her kids in Vermont. It is Hysterically funny. This brilliant writer wrote "The Lottery" which is scary as anything and then she wrote this which is one of the funniest books ever written. I highly recommend it if you like homemaker humor.

Go to Audible.com and search for The Great Courses then click the The Great Courses banner. I can't post the link as it's a personal referral link. I have no idea if all those shown will be discounted but you can always find a specific coarse you're interested in and ask about it here.

I cannot find any reasonable way to compile the huge list of audiobook titles. However, here's a list of categories:

- History
- Science
- Language, Literature, and Writing
- Business and Economics
- Health and Self Development
- Philosophy and Religious Studies
- Arts and Culture
