You have to click the "See Deal" button. I don't like the change, but that's increasingly how it's being done now.

Here's a similar but, sit-in Lifetime kayak if it ever comes back in stock at Wally World for a similar price:

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Lifeti...e/55604993

It was in stock until very recently. I hope they get more.

Purchased. Nothing new or used close to this price for a ten foot sit on top kayak.

Why wait?

FYI, the lifetime Daylite is only $120 with free ship to store. It's an 8' sit on top and comes with a paddle. I have one on order and should be ready for pickup next week.

Appears to be in stock.

Btw.. I wanted to fish with this and spent too much on the following:

$12 24in Scotty track
$15 Scotty rod holder
$14 Scotty track adapter
$12 Scotty well nuts
$20 foam car top kayak carrier
$20 basic life vest

So in all I'm pretty much over the tamarack which was on sale for 215$ but it's out of stock. In the end if I drill carefully and do it this way it will be a slightly better setup. Still.. most of me thinks I should have just spent the money on a kayak with the stuff I want.

Still need:

Plugs
Kayak paddle clip.

Lesson learned?

Probably could have gotten away with just a screw in rod holder. Why'd you opt for the track?

Thought it would be nicer to have my rod holder adjustable. Plus if I get more attachments etc I will use it.

If I just stick with the rod holder I'd still need the well nuts. No adaptor or track would save me 27$. ..hmm..

Definitely not as customizable just having it mounted. I get the kayak Monday so I'll have to see how the track will lay and I'll decide.

I bought a rod holder from Amazon for $11 for my sons kayak. It pivots up and down and rotates 360 degrees. I figured you really only need the rod holder for when you are paddling or changing tackle, otherwise you are holding. I suppose if you were trolling or bottom fishing with some bait would be where an adjustable rod rack would be beneficial.

And you can just drill right into the kayak with screws or use rivets to mount the holder. You don't need a track.

Don't get me wrong your setup is more versatile, but if you were looking to save a few bucks, you could avoid the track and adapter by going with a more universal rod mount.

Also, you may want to get a pair of flixh mount holders to keep an extra rod or two with you. Alot easier to switch to another pre-rigged rod in a kayak than tie on something new.
