Laughable price. Do you know when this thing was released it's $699 for the phone and $599 for the dock!!!! The only way this thing could have moved was to sell for $600 or less for both the phone and the dock from the beginning. Right now it should be just $300. Too many companies have no clue why Apple could sell at a premium and simply mimic the pricing. LOL

It's an okay price for the bundle only if it gets W10 on ARM later this year.

Actually it was $799.... I wanted to get one then but the price was a little too much for me.

I still think that Windows will make a comeback...... but that's just my opinion.

Even Apple couldn't do it in the beginning. Or did you forget how the 4gb original iPhone at $500 was almost immediately discontinued, the 8gb got a price cut and before long, the 3G model replaced both at subsidized pricing? This isn't subsidized, it's straight up the full and total price.

That said, I wouldn't buy a Windows phone right now either, because it's clear Microsoft has abandoned the platform to all but the most trivial updates. It'll be replaced by Windows on ARM devices later this year or early next, and they'll require a snapdragon 835 minimum.

Windows Phone, up until 8.1, was a FANTASTIC mobile OS. Easily the most fluid, reliable and well thought-out mobile OS, hands down.

Then Satya Nadella came along and farked it all up with the shit-show that is Windows 10 Mobile, a bug-riddled trainwreck that tries too hard to be Android on the one hand, iOS on the other, and utterly fails at being either Android, iOS or even what Windows Phone used to be.

That said, when Windows 10 on ARM comes to Snapdragon 835 devices, it'll really be worth considering not just as your phone, but as your main personal PC, provided you can get by with the horsepower of an ARM processor, which, honestly, a lot of people can.

This unit wasn't ever designed with personal use in mind - it was to be deployed by an organization for the sole purpose of running legacy windows 32bit apps using workspace.

In that regard, I always felt it was a bit over reaching. Despite the resolution of the screen, the physical size itself limits how well and easily you can use a windows application. Perhaps someone with perfect eyesight might be able to use it well, but I can't.

That being said, my other issue was that your other option, besides the screen. was a dock, which implied a monitor/keyboard mouse, or the odd ultrabook that connected to the phone to power it. In each instance, I couldn't help but think that an actual ultrabook or a surface pro would be a better solution.

All in all, while it would be fantastic to have everything consolidated in a single device, the size constraints are just too much at this point.

$399.99 with dock included should be a fair price.
