I bought a pair three years ago and they do not hold up with average bi weekly diy homeowner usage. Specifically, the plastic hinge at the base becomes brittle and breaks or gets bent out of alignment so that it has to be forced back in place

These are not bad if you put a couple of 2x4s across them in those notches, it makes them much more stable.

I had these for a year, not very stable but ok for $20. One collapsed on my friend when he was sanding a 2x12 board on it, just so you know it's not very strong laterally.
