Bought this set yesterday, and then noticed the price drop to $399 which seems like a great deal. There are also rebates available for additional purchases of Samsung appliances.

If I get the 400 buck for the washer and 589 for the gas dryer, I can get 300 off?

I tried to open the rebate details but it gave none

Its 150 rebate on a $1500 purchase of kitchen appliances.
Or 200 rebate on a $3000 purchase of kitchen appliances.

So no...

No. And they cost more to run most places in the country.

Does the electric dryer have the jumper pin option to use a 3 or 4 wire 240v power cord.

Newer dryers that use a 3 wire cord have a jumper pin to share the neutral and ground.

Newer dryers that use a 4 wire cord have separate wires for neutral and ground.

I have front loading Whirlpool Duet set paid $400each 8 years ago. Both machines are still running good, except for mold developed inside the detergent compartment.

Thanks! I might've seriously considered these but I'd rather not have a washer that's going to self destruct on me.. Not sure how Samsung is getting away with this garbage..

I bought the Dryer for around the same price last year. No issues so far very happy with it.

Also the dryer has an incredibly long multi part melody it plays at the end of its drying cycle, which is kind of different. Might annoy some, I enjoy it for it's silliness.
