I thought most DLCs are digital releases. As such, not many DLCs go on sale until well after their release date (or sooner if sales are poor, which I doubt will be the case for this DLC).

Sigh... Take my money. (I think the "sigh" comes from the wait until Dec, not the fact that I'm giving them money for this...)

I really do wish the preordering craze would end. There is no real value to it other than putting money in their pocket early. Willing to bet this "deal" will still be there the day before the product drops just like most other DLC deals.

Tempting... I beat the game recently and absolutely loved every minute of it. I'm wondering how long this DLC is. I know it's a new area and the trailer seemed to show that there will be at least 1 new type of enemy (seems like a guerrilla).

I'd also like to know if this will get a physical release. Would rather have it on disc vs digitally, so I can sell it after I'm done.

EDIT* Since so many people don't seem to realize this: DLC is not always "downloadable" and downloadable only. Sometimes publishers compile all DLC from games and put them on disc with the full game as part of "complete" editions. We got quite a few last generation (Batman Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition, Red Dead Redemption Game of the Year Edition) and some remasters this gen contained all DLC (BioShock The Collection, Batman Return to Arkham).

This is the only thing apart from Journey that I have ever pre-ordered just cz the game was so good. Just couldn't put it down. I have to say the Shield Weaver quest was a great way to keep player focused on the main story line.

DLC stands for DOWNLOADABLE content. If it was a physical release, it couldn't technically be a DLC.

I enjoyed the campaign and was pretty close to getting a Platinum on it until my son stole it. Thinking I want to steal it back so I can play this DLC though. Aloy needs me!

Yes, but they do put it on disc in certain special cases.

Loved the game and beat it, but just like most games of the genre.... the replay on the game was so low I had to get rid of it and this small DLC won't bring it back for me and I am now a sad panda
exactly same boat
