No Service - Freedompop

I had to and enter a new CC number as my service was halted. Even though I am under the basic, free plan. It charged me $5 and I edited my auto top up to "No." Now I have no service at all going on 10 days now. Can't text, call and no internet. What do I do? I can't open a tech support call as I am under the free plan. I tried the carrier reset i.e. For iOS Devices:

Connect your phone to WiFi if it's available

Tap on the phone's native calling app (not your FreedomPop app)

Dial ##25327# or ##UPDATE#

Tap the Call button

Tap OK

Wait for the update to complete

Tap OK once it's finished

This just hangs. Does anyone know how to fix this? My daughter has service so it is not an area outage. Thank you in advance.

I've been having the same issue. Ever since one of their sales rep called trying to upsell plans. I told him call back tomorrow evening because I was driving, but he instead called me (no exaggeration) 20 times that day. While I was at work, in a meeting, and surveying our site with a vendor. That irritated me so much that I muted their number, but then he started calling from an 800 number instead of the LA number. Yesterday they called again and I told the lady I'll get the annual plan next month because money is tight. She proceeded to ask me why I couldn't right now, and to use friend or family card. Today a young man called trying to upsell plans, and I told him I spoke to a lady yesterday about it and she's suppose to call back next month when I have the money. He responds with, "OK.............?!" He then proceeds to ask, "why don't you have the money..? oh this call may be monitored or recorded." I just hung up.. they have never called me about my other line, so I never knew they were this bad.

So yeah.. I have no service now and I find that awfully suspicious since I haven't had any problems with service before all this.

I'm wondering if something happened. I was able to update their app a few days ago since the app told me but now i can't call or use data at all unless I'm connected to my wifi. I'm wondering if they're going down the drain. Sheesh. Tried resyncing via their app but nothing. Online is shows my account as active but still not working. Hmmmm........

can you give me more detailed instructions or point me to where you found it. I am getting no service or dead zones in every other block where ATT has perfect coverage

there's two different ones. I don't feel like writing step by step instructions but if you combine the first link, of each link I gave you, with my initial directions that's what i did. if that don't work, then you will want to call freedompop and see how they can help.

I basically lost a phone because of freedompop. I activated a sprint phone. Was working fine for a month. Then I went on vacation and downgraded to the free plan. A month later, I tried using the phone and it wouldn't connect to data and wouldn't properly update the phone number, etc. I tried everything, including contacting support, changing sim card, resetting the network settings at least 20 times, and nothing makes it activate /connect Aharon, even though it was never really disconnected. I tried to activate the phone on ting or even directly with sprint, and it shows as already being connected with a service. I even tried porting my number out but my phone is basically being held hostage. I can't use with freedompop and can't use with any other sprint services. My last hope is contacting the freedompop rep here. Otherwise, I basically lost my favorite phone

In all the threads about Freedompop here over several years I don't remember anyone ever saying a Freedompop rep called them to upsell them.

if your sim works with foggmobile then it's the global sim. The attz apn is only for the LTE sim.

Both work fine but you have to use the right apn for the sim you have.
