Any real reason to spend 2x more for the newer F770(primary choice atm)? over this as both seem to have all the same features super night mode aside.

the 770 in my opinion looks flatter which is also a difference, but not worth $200

I was thinking the same thing. Looks more like some speed pass or garage opener vs the obvious camera. I'm stupid enough to spend $200 more for that as I've been vandalized twice already. But I'm in no rush so I can wait out a slave on the 770.

So why not more thumbs up? Seems like a slickdeal, no? Included 16GB SD card, and hardwire kit.

The camera itself on the Amazon page is $248. Perhaps that's just a marketing trick? Look, the kit is $210, what a deal!

Amazon has raised it to $217 Still a deal based individual pricing, the closer they come to having inventory the higher the price.....

Different, these have the Sony cmos, separate camera to look out the back of the car Both 1080p, instead of looking out back from the front camera, comes with hard wiring kit for parking mode, wifi viewing and downloading, comes with memory card

Vandalized twice, what's to stop them from stealing the evidence, aka camera
