I have personally not gone past 500GB in a month.
But others on Hofo have gotten near the 1TB mark.

Interesting, do they get low speeds after 22GB?

Seems like a gamble that att will allow this forever.

I have experienced no slowdowns what so ever.
I get about 12MB down and 15MB up, at night, in the sticks.
I use this because my alternative was $70 month landline + dialup.

how hot is this when you use 24/7?
I hate to waste $99 if it won't last 12 months.

Is there a return policy/trial period? I don't want a contract but I also don't want to be stuck with a $99 device if the service doesn't work for me.

It does get warm. But not hot enough that I believe that it would catch on fire.
Apparently, you can take the sim out and use it in a unite hotspot that has worked for most others.
I have not tried this as of yet.
But I may now due to the Mobley being available again.

From what I believe was the original source website was, they say that "If you do spring for the free device and 2 year contract it has a 14 day return window if you are unhappy with it. "
Source posted user lexi51, just a few post from the top: https://www.rv.net/forum/index.cf...t/true.cfm

I would chat with or call AT&T to confirm this.

I was looking at that laugh out loud The Mobley cost went up as their supply dried up everywhere, then the scalpers came up with them at ridicules prices for used ones.

I think the thing was that in order to get the $20 a month connected car plan, you needed an actual Mobleys imei number, otherwise users were contacted by att's fraud department, and devices were shut off that had just made up numbers, in hopes of just getting the plan.

i use my mobley sim exclusively in a ZTE ATT Home Base I bought on ebay for $25 and its worked great.
https://www.zteusa.com/att-homebase

i have a two story house that is about 1800 sq feet on each level and i get good signal every where, I was quite surprised. I just take that with me on car trips and run it on an inverter for the three kids to have internet for the long rides. its a big hit.

i live in the boonies as well and pay $68 a month for a lousy 5mb download. I haven't dropped that yet, I leave that for the kids and connect myself and the wife to the mobley connection. kids were always using up all the bandwidth! we also get frequent loss of internet on the DSL line, so the back up service has been nice. If i was confident that ATT wouldn't kill off this service, I'd buy another mobley and drop our other service.

Is there a way to test it out if you don't have an ac adapter? I want to order and still have time to return (14 day return policy) but I'm not sure an ac adapter I order will arrive in time. Do any stores have the ac adapter( I highly doubt this)?

I do see what you mean.
I had to personally build my own adapter with less than $10 in parts off of ebay.
The parts arrived and I had the adapter built in less than a week.

If you just want to test the mobley out, you can plug it into your cars OBD2 port to make sure it works at least, until your parts come in.

Here are some ready made OBD2 12v adapters from ebay: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_f...y&_sacat=0
