My mower just died. Was going to spend $400 for a new one. Saw this GreenWorks self propelled electric on Amazon for $473.75. The is the lowest on record at the Camel. Comes with the 5 AH battery, charger and bag. Great reviews. Brushless electric motor. 4 year warranty. Only downside is Amazon says 1-2 month wait. I hope it arrives sooner.

THANK YOU!! Now my wife can stop complaining about how hard it is to get her gas powered mower to start. She will love this one!

Foe those of you who have 80V Kobalt batteries and Kobalt tools, there is a guy who did a nice modification. He used a dremel to smooth out the lower rail in the GreenWorks battery receptacle. The 80V Kobalt battery fits in perfectly.

Tempting. My gas mower still works but I have a bunch of greenworks 80v tools so the 5ah may be worth it.

I bought this model in Sep 2016 for $215 without the battery and charger (which I already had). You can get this a lot cheaper if you wait it out and already have the battery charger combo.

"Usually ships within 1-2 months".

Cool, so I'll get it right about the time I'm done cutting grass for the year.
