9700077642864464 will take additional $10 off $75. Pretty sweet deal for internet-enabled belt opener.

Edit: code seems to be unique, Look in Sears app for your $10 off $75 code.

This set off my "laptop" alert, which means that the large array of sirens in my living room went crazy and woke up the whole house!!!

Just kidding it's not that serious.

How does Craftsman compare to Chamberlains? This looks like a great deal but not sure if I should hold out for a Chamberlain.

Found this Chamberlain online and it appears to be comparable. It even comes with parking assist.

I believe the Craftsman opener is actually a rebranded Chamberlain. I was told that by a Sears manager.

I have 3 of these openers. I have never heard a more quiet opener. Never had a problem. And as far as I know from prior research, Chamberlain makes Craftsman openers. I was holding out for a Chamberlain, but when the price dropped on the Craftsman ones, I jumped. I would buy another one again, no question. I have both the 3/4 and 1 HPS versions. I finally hooked up the gateway a few months back. The app was glitchy when I first installed my openers (which os why I waited to install the gateway) but they must have fixed the problem, as it works fine now, at least for the couple of months that I have been using it. I do have a problem getting one of the openers to work with the gateway, though it may be out of range. I didn't troubleshoot it much, as that is the least important opener to have work with the app.

Could be unique to user? This was in my Sears app under "Savings" tab. See if you get a different code for the $10 off $75 promo. I'll edit my post.

This is a great machine at a great price. I bought one myself when it was $20 more.
It's very quiet and I can see how the soft start/stop can help reduce wear on the door itself since it doesn't yank or shove the door as harshly as a regular opener might. The internet hub was cake to set up. If I had to gripe about something I'd say I wish the main control button was fancier than the basic model included.

I don't need battery backup and probably won't replace the battery when it goes bad. Does this give a battery alert and can it be disabled?

Great opener. Very quiet and the belt is durable. I haven't had any problems in the year and a half since installing it. I went through two cheap chamberlains before this and swore off buying junk openers. This one is good quality and I expect it last quite a while. The deal seems comparable to the ones in the past.

I bought two of these openers. I did compare it to the Chamberlain, Costco has the 3/4 HP for sale for $329.99. It had the parking sensor but it didn't make sense to spend the additional money just for the sensor
When ordering through the app the opener shows a price of $197.89. When I completed my order the receipt showed I was charged $219.88 each. I called into customer service and they confirmed I was overcharged and agreed to do a price adjustment; something to look for if you purchase
I applied the coupon $35 off of $300
If you are a rewards member you get an additional 10% off AND 5% in rewards points
My unit price after all discounts is $174.93 (that's with tax)
Thanks for posting this!!
