If this can climb up and down my 45-ish degree hill in my backyard forwards or backwards I'll buy it today.

I've got a 4 year old craftsman that can do this. You just have to run it up/down or at a slight angle. It's tough going up, but it'll do it.

I'm just so worried about the darn thing flipping over on me. Some research I've read says going in reverse is the safest way. My neighbor brought his zero turn down and the front wheels came up on him when he tried to climb it. Scary stuff. I'm lazy and sick of using my push mower on the bill but I'm not sure if I'm "risk my life" lazy yet. Debating. Wink

That would be my concern, how big is the area can you use a brush cutter?

I was watching a bunch of kids cut the grass on the freeway embankment and thought I'm too old for that....

It's a pretty steep hill down to a swale into the woods, great drainage, awful to mow. I have been powering through with a push mower but it is hell going back and forth on it, and up and down is WAY too steep pushing even with power behind it.

My neighbor who knows tractors tells me I need some sort of locking rear wheel transmission or something special to safely handle a hill like that.
