My friend has this and I have the Asus PG348Q. I prefer to game on mine but I swear the color on his is a magnitude better. I used TFTCentral's calibration but friend didn't bother doing anything out of the box (he claims).

Of course, now he wants to ditch it and get:

How is this compare to AOC AG352UCG 35'' VA 100mhz?

$1500, yup. The only thing I wish from that monitor was that it had a bit more vertical space.

Keep in mind that this doesn't support HDR. That is where games are heading next.

Nah. I have an HDR TV and have played a few games in HDR.

It's definitely nice, but not some game changer.

If you can get it, that's fine, but should not be a deciding factor.

Too bad it's not 1440p. It's nice for sure though. I'm currently waiting on 32"-34" 4k 75hz+ HDR to come out.

the AOC has G sync but both monitors have the same refresh rate. the samsung one looks classier though

Any reason why? Samsung Quantum Dot means SRGB of 125% compared to 100% of IPS panels. Both have 100hz, 1440p UW monitors. This one has a 4ms GTG while yours is 5ms GTG. This doesn't mean much but why do you like yours better? Aside form Gsync

Same reason we don't see OLED in many, if any, desktop monitors: Burn in.
