Freedompop sux. I've had dozens of problems with them. I have PM'd the FP agent on this site numerous times and this person chooses to ignore every one of my questions, concerns, complaints, and problems.

You're stupid if you go with this vs Sprint free for a year... You'll get hit with the intro package $8 fee due to not being able to find the 2 hidden switches you need to turn off. Dialer app worked like garbage. Pay for support & they held port out PIN hostage...

They are back to these mystery charges of 1c per month. Getting them on three different accounts and credit cards. No reason for it. Beware!

A number of people here on SD have had great success using FP. That's the other side of the coin.

For example, we just spent two weeks in Europe using FP's global sims. Toured Spain, Italy, France. It worked fine, with good signal and everything.

I also have great success with FP. I have had phones from them for almost 3 years now, haven't paid a dime except for the cost of the phones (Samsung Galaxy S4 and S6).

I've had 2 phones and 2 global sims, all worked fine for free monthly service. Just be careful about opting out of all the addons and it works great!

As I said, I've PM'd FreedomPop numerous times this year on this forum and you keep choosing to ignore me. Why don't you PM me??? My latest issue is that my credit (money in my account) keeps expiring on all of my accounts after 1 month. It is supposed to last 90 days. I try to open a ticket to get help but FP does everything they can to make it so I can't contact customer service.

FreedomPop credit becomes inactive if not used within 30 days.

If the new device is a FreedomPop phone, I can help you with that right away. However, if the device is not a FreedomPop device you first need to go through our BYOD funnel at www.freedompop.com/activate. Please note, we only activate CDMA devices. You can then PM us here to swap the devices.

Copy and paste from my FP account:

Your balance remains active for 90 days after your last credit activity from your FreedomPop device.
