I've used coupons in the past with these paint/stain rebates, no issue.

Stupid question: if I purchase two gallons in the same transaction, does that mean I get two, $10 rebates? Or is it one rebate per transaction/receipt? Thank you!

You would get one rebate worth $20. It's $10 per 1 gallon of paint and $40 on a 5 gallon bucket. You can buy all in one transaction and only submit one rebate. If you buy in multiple transactions, you'll have to submit multiple rebates but you'll still get the same amount of rebate.
I've never had a problem stacking these with the various coupons.

Thank you! $20 rebate is what I meant too, I apologise. And that's really awesome! I'm heading in store to buy a mudpan to finish my sheetrock, but I'll be able to ask what base I need for the colour I choose!

It really is the best way I've found to buy paint. Valspar Signature version is what seems to be the reasonably good paint for the money. The Olympic One is cheaper but doesn't cover as well and I've had problems with runs a bit.

Thank you! I was in between Reserve and Sherwin's comparable brand. Rep for the great help!

I must admit I haven't tried the Reserve. I found the Signature to be just fine and never went higher up. A few years ago it was the version just below Signature (Ultra or Ultimate maybe?) that was what I used but it seemed like Lowes introduced another level, the Reserve label, and I'm not sure they didn't just move the labels around on the different levels. Now it's the Signature that seems to cover and handle well for the price.

Combine this with $15 off $50 coupons and buy 3 gals of flat and it becomes $15 per gal.

So to use the $15 off $50 do you buy the base and have them tint in store? Do you just pick up the paint and go over and have them tint it? I don't see an option to buy specific colors online.

I'm sorry, I did mean Signature, I had both tabs open and my memory remembered Reserve! I'll be doing the $15 off $50 when I get home!

The thing is you'll need to know what base is required for your colour. You could always call the paint department, tell them the colour/brand and what type of paint, and they'd tell you the base tint required. Then make sure you order that paint for pick-up. A lot of people buy the base to have tinted later (if they already know the base) especially if it's on sale. If it's already purchased, you can get it tinted at the desk!

Yes, I've bought the base on sale and had it tinted later. You can also find sources for the $15 coupons online that come as pdf's that you print and take to the store.

I have rental properties and am about to pick up another. I'm sure I'll be hitting this sale before it ends. I can probably pick out my colors ahead of time though as I only use a few different colors in the various rentals. Sea Salt is a Sherwin Williams color that everyone seems to love so I'll probably be getting 5 or 10 gallons of that and 5 ceiling white, etc.

Thanks all, I'll go in store to find out what base I need to buy. I'll be painting a bathroom this weekend - would SW Showcase semi-gloss be a good option or does Lowe's offer a better paint for high moisture areas? New homeowner; first time paint buyer. I've already got Killz Bathroom & Kitchen Primer that I plan on doing over the next couple of days.
