This is an Amazon "Lightning Deal" and these deals generally don't last very long. - brisar

Had to TD this folks. I have used hotels.com, doing the "buy 10 nights, get one free. Found out from the hotel I typically stay at they could have given me a better rate going directly through them. Hotels.com charges a premium to make their money. Just as a REFERENCE EXAMPLE, a $55 room can be had at the same hotel for $44. So 10X11 is $110 savings. Average out the room cost and you are actually using money when going for the 10 bights get one free, because they only average the price of the rooms purchased, so say $50 room you wind up spending $100 to get there.

Check with the hotel first regarding rates.

Good deal. Just wish it wasn't Hotels.com.
Never again will I use Hotels.com since I had a delayed flight, and wouldn't be able to make it to my booked hotel until a day later. They could not guarantee that I would keep my reserved room as I wouldn't have checked in on the scheduled day.
What they did offer to do was allow me to pay the original $600 it cost to book my hotel, cancel the my booking, and then pay another $300 to re-book. (a day less).

Can anyone confirm if this will work with the Amazon Assistant promotion of $5 off $25 orders? If so, this deal would be slicker!
