Ebay $10 off $25 or more coupon - EXTREEMLY YMMV

Posting here as its too YMMV to put in hot deals, mods can do whatever.

It seems ebay is stepping up these coupons in individual accounts, if you watch items, but the items get away or don't go for the reserve price it seems to me like it is triggering the following coupon.

I have only seen this coupon once before. $10 off any purchase $25 as far as I can tell, , one time use. Confirmed that right now with the 10% ebay bucks, it stacks and works.

A coupon shows up right above the amount of ebay bucks to be earned on any listing. When clicked on the coupon says,
Quote :
$10.00 off your purchase of $25.00 or more. Your item missed you! Redemption code: youruniquecodehere
It shows at the top of the summary page for me: http://www.ebay.com/myb/Summary?M...BaySummary

Quote :
Who's eligible for the Coupon?

Only invited, registered eBay users who see the Coupon in My eBay are eligible. Sorry, no forwarding—Coupon is not transferable.
How to redeem your Coupon:

Shop for eligible items. (See below for exclusions.)
Pay for your item with PayPal by 11:59PM Pacific Time on the Coupon expiration date.
Enter the Coupon code in the redemption code field.

Terms & Conditions

The Coupon will expire at 11:59:59 PM PT on the date shown on the Coupon. Discount applies to the purchase price (excluding shipping, handling, and taxes) of an eligible item on eBay.com. Coupon can be used once for up to the maximum Coupon discount amount, while supplies last. Restrictions and/or exclusions will be designated in each Coupon offer. Only registered eBay members paying with PayPal can receive the discount. Any unused difference between the actual discount amount received and the maximum amount will be forfeited.
I spelled EXTREEMLY wrong I know.

I got it also, I think the coupon codes are unique (looking at mine) and may not be one of those ones that have to be loaded onto your account.

This is still good. I got it too. I had an item in my cart for a couple of days. Deleted it, added an ebay gift card and it applied. $25 for $15. Only condition for coupon apparently is to pay with paypal.

i got one code yesterday that was working and i waited till today to make a purchase since it said that it was valid till July 3,2017. I tried it today and it says invalid code. I called ebay and they say they have to investigate this and that i have to send a screenshot of the email since they have no record of this email.

What A SCAM. I received this offer, with an expiration date of June 29. Was in communication with a seller to finalize a transaction. Then coupon mysteriously disappeared from my account on June 25. eBay customer service completely unresponsive and claims it would be acceptable business practice to remove coupon prior to stated expiration date. Corporate strategy appears to be Lie and Deny. It was like talking to a brick.

I just got email from ebay saying that the coupon i received is not legitimate since the email address i got it from reply1.ebay.com and it should be just ebay.com. I've got countless email from reply1.ebay.com about purchase confirmation and such. I believe ebay does not know what it is talking about.

the coupon I got with the email is somehow they claim from a spoof email address and that the coupon. is not legitimate. But the thing is until last night, I had an item in cart ready for checkout and that coupon applied with $10 off. I just did not pull the trigger on the item thinking I would think over the item since I still had plenty of time left for the coupon expiration. I wish they would accept their mistake and not blame it on a third party for what is clearly their mistake.

Yep.. I had it in my cart but it wouldn't let me apply with the 15 of 75, now customer support claims I never had it and I have no proof

To me, they clearly know something is amiss. This promotion wasn't like the typical 'flash sales' they routinely have. In this case, every item screen I looked at had a newly included disclosure line indicating the potential discount opportunity. If a buy it now item was listed at $50, there was a new line just above the eBay bucks disclosure indicating 'You can have this item for $40....here's how" and there was a link to the my eBay page with the coupon code. Obviously this required some new site design..it wasn't simply a banner ad. But to lie about it...that's what I find most disgusting.
