This chair is packaged under high compression so it takes 7–10 days to expand. You can help speed up the process by re-fufing to distribute the Fuf foam throughout the chair. - Randy71

I'd buy from Walmart even if it is more because when you want to return it, it will never fit in the bag it shipped in - it expands because it was vacuum packed.

Is this worth it? I have recently become a bachelor again and want some bachelor furniture.

I've got one of these at home, and can confirm that it is just filled with random sized blocks of foam. There really is no way to cleanly remove the filling to wash the cover, so be ready to do lots of spot cleaning.

Other than that though we loved ours, and used it regularly as an extra couch or bed when needed (actually comfortable enough to sleep on). That is until our Basset Hound decided he absolutely loved it, and proceeded to cover the thing in slober that we just haven't even tried to get off of it (hence why the not being able to clean the cover is a con).

I have two of these in the one size smaller and love them, as do my cats.Mine are filled with random foam pieces of the same size, which is the point. They're like packing peanut size, but the manufacturing process could be different now?

With a little extra caution, I take care to not get them dirty with food/drink, so have never been in a position to have to take the cover off either.

It's not like you're sitting in a chair with your back at 90°, when you lean back your body settles in and you're at an angle of sorts.
Not ideal for eating, unless you sit in them and keep your back straight (like the kid in picture with controller on Amazon) but then you're missing the point of relaxing!

The cats obviously leave their fur all over, but it swipes off with a little work using my hands and then can use lint roller/packing tape after that to get the rest.

I have back and neck problems from a MVA many years ago, and sleep in these with ease compared to my bed.

They've lost some of their spunk over the years, but I rotate back and forth once a month and it's not that big of a deal, but worth mentioning. They sell replacement foam as a more permanent, yet again temporary solution.
Depending on how many hours of use they get, defines how quickly the foam will eventually compress, but it takes months and months of daily 5-6+ hour use.

Highly recommended, great for game room or sleeping.

Can 3 kids sit on this comfortably? 2 of the kids are fairly small (about 3.5 feet tall) and the other is older/larger (almost 5 feet tall)

I have the larger version of this and LOVE it. This size I think is much more practical because the bigger ones flatten out and take up even more space than its initial footprint.

You'll find yourself taking lots of naps in these things and they become threadbare after a couple years so expect to replace it (particularly with kids or animals) semi often.
