Menards currently has the Chamberlain® 1-1/4 HP Wi-Fi Belt Drive Garage Door Opener with Battery Backup on sale for $239 plus another 11% rebate making the total $212.71.

I just went to Home depot, and they price matched the $212.71 plus another 10% off bring the total to $191.44.

According to CamelCamelCamel, the lowest price this has been in the past year is $199.99

I just purchased 2 of these at the Home Depot in Champaign, Illinois. See attached scan of my receipt.

Wow. Worked. Repped. I'm in Austin, TX.

I've been looking for 2 garage doors (single and a double). I wanted both to be smart home compatible. Was about to jump for the Ryobi GDO, but thought I'd give this a shot first because of brand name. Cheaper to do this than any other 2 belt drives + MyQ.

Thanks!!

Note that model # is different though... there is a chance they can say no because of that.

FYI, rebate ends today.

the additional 10% off is from HD's price matching policy. when they price match an item, they will offer an additional 10% off the competitor's price (for in-store purchases only)

I highly recommend these types of garage openers as being able to monitor them and open/close them via smartphone is great. Now I never have to drive back to see if I remembered closing the garage or not.

They shouldn't price match the after rebate price, but they do offer their own rebate to compete: https://www.homedepotrebates11percent.com/#/home

update, went to HD and they stated they do not match menards rebate, they had no idea they offer their own 11% until I showed them, still a good deal.

The Home Depot rebate is only for purchases made at participating stores (see previous link), so if that store is not on the list, it wouldn't surprise me if the employees were unaware of it.

What puds....they keep in hidden in some ways but I've done it many times this year. Here is this months rebate form. https://www.homedepotrebates11per...038696.pdf

Maybe somebody can answer my question, how complicated is it to do a self install on this should I hire somebody or attempt it myself I'm somewhat mechanically inclined and do my own repairs around the house
Thank you
