Great deal, I'd get this if I hadn't pieced together the worx 56v set.

Definitely looks like an instore item (for now):

Took a couple of pics, specs look good (item # is DCK097M1). The blower seems to have a good CFM rating (compared against the Ryobis, both the 18V and 40V version.

Trimmer looks great as well, but is slightly heavier than the nicer 18V Ryobi unit.

Since the images are large (so you can read the specs), I'm linking them instead of embedding them:

If you search the kit # on DuckDuckGo [duckduckgo.com], it actually shows a linked Home Depot page that's no longer valid, so maybe they're getting ready for a 4th of July special?

I've got that same string trimmer and it works okay. Kind of weak but functional enough. Nice and light and no hassle with gas/oil. Dewalt quality is lacking. Unit crapped out after a few months of light use and had to drive 30 miles each way to get it to a dealer, and that's in So Calif. so good luck if you live away from a big city.

I only use mine, trimmer, on high. It is not as strong as a gas or plugged unit, but the trade off is ease of use. I use it after every mowing which means less to trim and less power needed. Where as my plug in unit I used 2 or 3 times a year because more time more effort in set up and clean up. That is why I love it. And I have a ton of Dewalt tools and batteries. Also heard there was a problem with the first gen units which is what I have. cross fingers.

I've got the string trimmer and it's just as good as the Toro gas trimmer that preceded it. It doesn't vibrate unless one of the strings breaks and it gets unbalanced but that's easy to remedy. I've got 2 4ah batteries and 1 2ah battery with 2 chargers; all together I can pretty much use it continuously.

I've had it for about a year and it's still going strong.

One of the home depots near me didn't have any but the other one had 3 so I picked it up. Now I just need to flip this extra trimmer.

It's not a bush hog, I don't think this is meant to compete with the power of a gas trimmer seeing as they have two more sizes a 40v and a 60v that I would expect to do that. For a quick trim around the house this is perfect.

My HD had one left so I took it home and gave it a spin. These are light years faster, lighter and quieter than my gas powered trimmer and blower bounce

Not really sure why this isn't getting thumbs up seeing as it's an awesome deal

Was lawn day yesterday so stopped by one of my local stores to look at these. They had a display with room for 12 sitting on main aisle and had 8-9 left. Not worried about battery capacity as I've got several of the 6.0 ah batteries from Christmas specials.

Trimmer did feel a tad underpowered when I first started using it, but was better once I extended some more line (first cuts done with it as it shipped). Worked close enough to my gas model that I feel it could be used most weekends and the has model saved for some of the more demanding edging around the cement driveway/curb which is a bit more severe on strong longevity. Only week point of the unit is that the junction of the trimmer handle is just a pop up button and not as strong as I'd prefer.

Blower produces an acceptable draft and instant on is quite nice.
