I wonder if it is as good as the $35 ninja with motor on the top we're using.
The reviews at Oster seem to be all bought and paid for.

I've had this blender for over three years. Bought it based on the recommendation from thewirecutter.com. Have been very happy with it.

The blade looks weird af. I studied blender blades as part of my senior design thesis. Adding additional blades midway isn't going to accomplish anything and I'd wager it actually makes blending performance worse.

Wired magazine made a great video on blender physics. Do yourself a favor and watch it before buying. https://www.wired.com/2013/03/che...-blending/

How much does it pulverize ice? Finely crushed?
