make sure the pod is on the bottom with clothes on top. i am pretty sure as the water collects on the bottom to get the wash started the pod will dissolve to near entirety if submerged. if its on top then the its going to get whipped around and it might only get soaked initially and dissolve in close approximation to an article of clothing thus leaving the stand.

hope that helps. i havent had any issues with staining.
Just throw it in with this clothes

I noticed ever since i started using HE detergents especially pods type, some of my shirts have some oily stains. It isn't the washing machine since I still get the stains after I replaced the old washing machine so must be HE type detergents. I use the proper amount of detergent per load as well. I wonder if it's okay to use NON HE detergents in a HE washing machines.

I noticed in the reviews on Amazon, several people were getting stains from the pods. There are pictures and everything. If you're using regular liquid soap and pouring it directly into the drum, you might see if there is a dispenser on your machine.

There is a dispenser for it. I actually disolve most of the pods to get the detergent separated from the gel like casing first with warm/hot water before putting it in the dispenser in a small cup and get rid of most of the gel like casing that did not dissolve right away but still I see stains on some of my shirts. I will start using liquid detergents and maybe powder again instead of the pods. I still got at least 4 of those 81 count packs of Tide from Walmart couple of months ago.

Tide Pods 81 count $ 15.97, after clipping $3 coupon (on the page).

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BUNHFQM/

Comparison:
Walmart - $ 19.97
Costco - $ 35.99 (152 count) (24 cents per pod)
Amazon - (20 cents per pod)

There are many other varieties of tide/downy/gain also in this below links:

With the 15% S&S discount, my total was $13.97 before tax, or $0.17 per pod. Thanks for posting this deal, OP!

In for one, I always need more of this for my kid's clothes everyday, even you have to wash one more time a day, because you have some naughty childrens at home.
