The price dropped again for the newest 9560 (1050 GTX) like last time. It was noted that these include the fingerprint reader and the signature edition (no extra bloatware) from this thread: https://slickdeals.net/f/9993088-dell-xps-15-9560-laptop-i7-7700hq-4k-15-6-touchscreen-32gb-ddr4-1tb-pcie-sdd-for-1-999-99#commentsBox. Normally this configuration runs for $2,574.99 before tax on Dell.com.

If you buy with your Costco Citi card you get 2 additional warranty free (4 years total) through their Concierge Services.

If you're trying to compare price, that is not even close to the same laptop. Half the hard drive and ram. Did it have the upgraded graphics card? Also 1 year warranty (from the time your box was initially opened) rather than up to 4 years free. Micro Center charges $330 for a 3 year warranty. Not saying yours wasn't a good deal but it's not comparable.

I see that you are a beginner....
Dell XPS 9560 with 512gb ssd and 16gb ram for a $1200 is MUCH,MUCH better deal,baby!
Yes,Video card is the same(4GB NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 Graphics),yes 11 month of dell warranty left.
I don't care about 3-4 years of warranty!
The difference is $800-I don't even need to upgrade my ssd or the ram,but even if I would,it's cheaper then $800...

In my previous job I repaired computers. 3 extra years of warranty on a dell is worth something, potentially quite a bit with how these XPS have been fairing. You need to look at the cost over time as well. If you use this for a line of work that needs the extra hdd and and RAM they're also worth something. You can definitely find those components for less than $800 but opening up the computer to swap those out will void your warranty which could cost you more money.

Again I never said yours wasn't a good deal but it wouldn't have worked for me and it is not even close to a comparison for this computer.

Edit to add: This deal is also available to everyone whereas yours was not. My Microcenter had the 16gb 1tb version open box for $1709.

First of all,it's very easy to open XPS 13 or 15" laptop. With 15" XPS you can simply change the RAM(it's not soldered) like in XPS13,also one more screw, and your SSD(M.2) is out....
BUT WHO SAID THAT I NEED TO OPEN OR UPGRADE MY 512gb ssd or 16gb ram???I DON'T NEED TO DO THAT! 512ssd it's plenty for me!!!
$1200 is not available in your area-that's a problem....BUT I GOT IT for $1200 HERE,IN NEW YORK!

You're completely missing the point and the point of slickdeals. You posted a singular deal that you got saying it's the exact same computer, which it's not, for much less money. No one cares what price you got a different computer for, especially if they can't recreate the deal.

Then you said it could be easily upgraded so it wasn't worth the extra money. I simply pointed out that can void a warranty, which is worth some money, not that it's difficult or expensive to replace nor that you needed to replace yours. But there are people who need 32gb of RAM and 1TB hdd. The deal OP posted is decent if you value the warranty and are a costco member. Not frontpage but worth knowing about if you need the computer now and can't wait for a better deal. All I was saying is that your original post wasn't relevant to this posting. No reason to get so angry.
