Why thumb down? The reviews are good and backed by fakespot. The price is not bad, $199 everywhere else and the lowest price I saw before is ~160.

Agreed. People were liking this when newegg had them for 150. May pick one up for my Challenger. The GB70 might be overkill but I may upgrade from my RT next year.

Clueless ppl thumb this down because they bought a $30 pos 300 amp jump starter off ebay once and it wont work when they need it.

These might be old stock they're trying to get rid of at low prices. It's a good brand, but don't complaint about it if it doesn't work during an emergency.

From the very day that a Lithium Ion battery is manufactured,is also the day that it's rated capacity starts decaying.
It's kind of like a carton of milk.If you put it in the fridge, it will make it to its expiry date. But if you leave it on the counter top all day long ,then it will go bad very soon ,and even sooner if it's left out in the sun.
The Lithium battery capacity decays to 20% within 1 year of the "Manufactured date"

After way too much research I have decided to get one of these. Of course I missed this deal and now have to wait for the next one. Almost got the weego 44 but it doesn't have the boost mode so if the battery is too drained it simply won't even try to start.

All the others use cheap crappy cables that aren't going to survive more then a few starts and after trying the ravpower 18000mah I do not believe the capacity ratings on any of these off brand chargers.

After watching reviews of this thing being able to start AND run an engine for miles with no battery at all I think this is the best option for the worst case scenario, and the best chance for it to actually work when needed. All the crap brands are serving a purpose though.. the idea of these being under $199 a couple years ago would be unheard of. Hopefully they don't have to drop the quality to compete though.

Ok so I was able to basically replicate this deal at autozone. Use 20% off ship to home & 22% off giftcardbin egift cards. Actually I was adding tax in so it was a bit cheaper then this deal.

Just posting in case anyone is interested.

Update: GiftCardBin sent me a code for instore only and it has taken a full day to get it resolved. Never had a problem with them before and they are fixing the issue but it took a return / buy another code to get it done and still waiting for them to give me the numbers.

Also absolutely no offer of compensation for their mistake. I know these resellers have a tough job with scammers from all sides but they still need to find a way to fix issues quickly.

Update: Got new code, managed to get through autozone's terrible checkout process and now have my GB70 on the way for $127 + $10 tax. Was a bit of work but now I don't have to wait for a 1 hour sale at Amazon.

Update: Wow it's shipping today and arriving Monday. Have only seen that with occasional light Amazon deliveries. Nice.

GB70 just arrived (one day late). Looks like a beast... will let it charge and test it out.
Been reading and watching all the videos and really don't understand all the hate on noco.

The one guy who supposedly exposed them pulled the video because he had the charger instead of the jump pack and everyone still quotes that video when complaining.

There's the other guy who challenges the gb40 battery capacity to 18000 mAh packs and wonders why it doesn't last... in the mean time the other packs clamps are breaking and the batts are exploding but he still rags on the gb40 like it's inferior even though it held up fine due to it's protections. The one thing he never does is actually start cars with them.

Anyway the autozone deal can still be done as of 8/8 if anyone wants a real pack.
