Refurbforless has the AMD RYZEN 1700 (not X) for $277.99 currently via ebay. Microcenter has it for $299 in store and this is as low as I've seen in a few weeks.

A few of you might get to use ebay bucks although I don't have any Frown

I've been enjoying my Ryzen build. Still some issues with getting my memory to run at max clock rates, but I had no problem getting my 1700 to run at a consistent 3.6 Ghz without really pushing things at all on the stock cooler, and I'm pretty sure I could push further without trouble.

Be careful Refurbforless is known for repackaging returns and shipping it out as brand new. You might want to take video of yourself opening the package and inspecting the chip for any thermal paste and check the processor temperature.

A lot of people that have bought from them before:

in that thread there is another link talking about the items they received and pictures of damage

Edit: the full thread with others saying the same thing

I bought the 1700 from them a couple weeks ago. Everything looked new. Nothing looked re-sealed. The CPU was clean and smelled good too.

But that's just my first-time experience with them. I'm not gonna defend them in any way.

As other commenter, I got my Ryzen 1700 from Refurbforless few months ago. Think it cost me, $250 at the time. I took pictures as I opened it. It looked pretty new and packaged well.

Waiting for a $220 1700 deal before I hop on the ryzen bandwagon. Plus Zen refresh in 3 months so that complicates matters.
