You can get it for cheaper at Bed Bath and Beyond right now. Look through my history and you'll see the link.

Even though both the "instant" $100 rebate AND "mail-in" $100 rebate are shown on the product page, I'm assuming it's really one or the other right? No way in heck would both be applicable here.

No. Their terms specify that professional installation is required for everything EXCEPT thermostats.
