TBarntsen, I've heard that the Tramontina set that has awesome reviews isn't the same anymore. They downgraded the quality since then to save money.

Call me cheap, I have never spent $100 on any kitchen set so far but spending about that much every year Frown seriously looking for a good deal on a set that last at least couple of year. How good is this set, quality for this price?? Also do these stainless Steel have sticky problem? Tri-ply is like really thick n heavy?? Sorry for too many questions, I really need a decent set. Missed that $50 off Costco set last month ...thought that was decent

the multi clad pro cookware is an absolute dream to use. it's the same thickness as all clad, and probably the closest thing you can get to it without spending a fortune. I have a 7 piece set of MCP and one all clad pan, and honestly could not recommend paying more for AC.

How does this compare to https://slickdeals.net/f/10300192-macys-cookware-sets-25-off-40-off-15-off-13-pc-calphalon-tri-ply-stainless-steel-cookware-set-7-pc-utensil-set-12-everyday-pan-175-12-free-shipping for $175?

You can buy Cuisinart set from Amazon for $190 but Calphalon set is $390 on Amazon.
