Regular price is $49.99.
It has an inner bin, and the lid is motion-activated (and also touch buttons for open and close).
Takes 6 AA batteries.

On the price tag at Costco, it showed that the promotion lasts until 8/31/2017, but it seemed to sell fast (half were gone already). This is the Costco at Richmond, CA.

The following is an Amazon listing of the same item (for reference):

A photo of my receipt is attached. It probably does not show if you are using a mobile device.

I have a couple of these, they're well designed and built except one of mine has a sensor that's less sensitive than the other one

this thing is pretty cool we have it but it's not for a family of 5 , maybe for like a family of 2 or 1 .

the automatic opening mechanism is finally going 2 break , or we broke it off cause it was too slow , or the batteries died 2 quickly , or it failed 2 detect our motion - so you're standing there like an idiot , come on stupid trash can , finally prying the thing open yourself - i cant remember why but so finally the lid came off cause yeah i told the family it broke itself . i wasn't putting up with this POS the wife just had 2 have .

and don't fill up the bags 2 much , that's why if you have kids and they just overfill then when you pull the bag out it's so stuffed , you cant get it out - just gotta carry the whole thing out 2 the trash bin and turn upside down and get jiggy with it .

so would i buy it again ( err let the wife buy it again ) ? hell no not with a family of children but for some reasonable adults , yeah probably . . . but battery operated ? come on let me plug the thing in , for more horsepower even . . .

Would recommend it, have had it for 6 months with no issues and working off of original batteries. I will say take it out of the box in store and inspect it to insure there are not dents 👍

I love how it's called 'Sensible Eco Living'...yeah a heavy stainless trash can made in China that takes 8 batteries and full of electronics..yeah that's eco living :p. From my observations, I routinely see these in the returns pile.

We love ours. Family of 2. Batteries still going since Christmas. No issues at all. Brother got one too and loves it.
