why is this deal bad?
looking at the last sales for a GTX 1080 Ti they were this price or in some cases $10 less just a month ago, considering how altcoin mining has been driving up GPU prices isn't this the best deal on a GTX 1080 Ti ?

No, this is a shitty deal because it ships practically a month from now. If it shipped now, it would be good.

That's about when RX Vega will be announced, lmao.

I'd pay the extra $50 for a reference cooler and not to deal with Gigabyte or Massdrop.

How does the cooling of the dell PNY card compare to this one?

Depends on the case you put it in. The Dell deal is better cooling for most mid to full tower case and the cooler on this one would perform well in more compact systems.

That PNY card is gonna have better cooling than a blower-style card. But it depends on a lot of things, but for a regular ole build? The PNY probably wins.

Even though Gigabyte is the better "name" for video cards, I'd still take the PNY due to the cooling system it has.
