I bought that one some time ago. 700 mah lasted for days, not an hour. Don't worry about Justin's comment.

I found the ps4 equivalent for a few bucks on ebay with free shipping. Never really thought to look into the xbox version considering the controller hasn't ever died. That thing just keeps on going. I don't even know if it takes batteries or requires a charge.

Another good option could be going with some good rechargeable batteries. I sold my energizer dock similar to this one and went with eneloops instead. I've had much better performance with the eneloops.

Thanks, in for one. Had a similar Energizer branded version of this for 360. Glad it comes with two batteries.

The only thing that sucks about chargers like this is not being able to charge the battery out of the controller. I like my Microsoft play and charge kit so much more than the Energizer charger I have. I have one of each in different controllers, if I could only charge one Energizer pack while playing with one it would be awesome. I could also be using both packs and swapping controllers, but the play and charge is so much more convenient. Also on the Energizer one I have to fiddle with the controller to make it seat properly.

People don't understand sarcasm, but your comment is actually very helpful. I guess they don't get that 600mah isn't actually that great. The generic charger i have from walmart is 1100mah. It's "power a" and on sale at Wal-Mart for $20.25. linked below. I've had it for two years, no issues, still holds a charge, but can see the charge is wearing a bit faster lately. lasts 3 days of frequent use still.

I'm pretty sure you can charge the batteries while playing using a mini usb.

I think you're right. That's really strange! You would have to buy batteries separately? That's convenient. <<< (sarcasm)

It might charge with a micro USB cord but it's hard to tell if it's charging or when it's full. Even with the plug and play cord the light doesn't come on. I have been afraid to ruin the batteries charging that way.

Eneloops are the way to go. Mine charge in about an hour or two, last through days worth of heavy play.
