Just a heads up. Not all 4 of the cameras are 4MP. 2 of them are only 1080p.

This deal has been active a few weeks now, I bought it a couple weeks back. I haven't ran the wires or installed the cameras but I have tested it out. To anyone that has this system , is the main unit supposed to be so loud ? I can hear this running from my living room while it was hooked up in my office.

can anyone confirm if the cameras will work with blueiris software? these are IP cameras, so if I plugged them into a POE network Hub, will they work?

I have 3 of their NVR. Only one unit is loud. The fan is not high quailty on the power supply. If you're handy, you can replace the fan in the power supply unit, but it will void the warranty. I removed the fan and rigged a 120mm fan on mine.

I'm in the market for a system. I was thinking a 4k system with a combo dome and bullet cams.

we have 7 camera system, recently upgraded from 1080p. i think 4mp is bare minimum for outdoor. the difference from 1080 to 4mp is astounding. we will go to 4k when the pricing comes down

The fan is definitely loud. I have the 3mp version for a few years now. I actually cut the case and added a 120mm fan into mine. Left the original power supply fan but cut the red wire between it and added a resister to slow it down. With the 120mm blowing at it, I am not worried about overheat. It's been running since it was first setup.

This fan can be used to replace the power supply fan. CASE FAN, 40X40X10MM, BALL BEARING, 3-PIN https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002OFL...wzbJ2TBZTP

As for 120mm fan, any quality one will work if you can splice the wires.

What is the cost of the HDD that would work with this unit, and the cost to add two more 4mp cameras , and would the 2 lower resolution cameras be better for indoor used ? Thanks .

I bought this deal earlier today. Scroll down on the website and there are combo deals to add the HDD. I bought the 2TB combo deal for $372.99 total. It supposedly saved me $35. They have 4TB and 6TB HDD options for more.

Would love to get one, but it has to be able to integrate with smartthings or other hub.
Camera spots movement, lights turn on, and I get sms with link to see what is going on.
Too bad not many quality systems (If any?) offer that
