Beware: Ordered 2 sets of 5 boxes ("PROTEIN BARS 5PK (25 BARS FOR $16.99) ") and they changed it to 5 bars on each order after I paid (total of 10 bars instead of 50 bars). I received 20% of what I paid for. Others reported the same thing. Please remove listing to save others from fraud

It looks like the OP (an SD staff member btw) has some sort of relationship with them. He has posted numerous deals for the same crooked merchants. Perhaps he can pay you what you're owed out of the stipend he was paid for posting these shill "deals."

Supplement Hunt

In all it looks like he posted 40 threads for this merchant.

YI Technology via Amazon

Gear Best

healthcareplus1 via ebay

And here's 8 more posted by Oski1981 who is, shockingly, another SD staff member. (There are actually 11 by this same user, but the SD search by user doesn't work properly.)

Tanga (any SD vet knew this one was coming)

Well he posted 52 of those.

Not sure what you are intending to point out here? This is not some big revelation that SD staff members post deals (and it is also not uncommon for people to return to look for deals from merchants they have posted before, whether they are staff or regular members, so numerous posts by the same person from the same vendor is really not that uncommon). It is fairly transparent that retailers can engage in marketing and advertising deals with SD seeing how the link for this is posted clear as day at the bottom of any SD page. Obviously they get paid for these advertising/marketing deals. They also state pretty clearly as well that they make money if we purchase items through posts. Certainly doesn't make them accountable for a retailer shipping error, or quantity error. As an example specifically related to Supplement Hunt, I posted the recent FP deal for 10 boxes, got what I ordered no issue. Having worked in wholesale distribution previously I can tell you that order selectors in a warehouse are usually not looking at individual items to identify them when they pick. Items are slotted in a warehouse, given SKU numbers or Slot Numbers, and order pickers simply go to that slot and take the quantity they are told to take. 99.9% of the time they most likely don't even know the item they are taking off the warehouse shelf. This is more of a receiving issue, where a delivery comes to a warehouse, and it gets slotted wrong. In the OP example, mostly likely individual boxes got slotted incorrectly in the space for cases. Any reasonable person can have a conversation with a company and work out these issues. Nobody is perfect in this world in their personal life or their job.

I have no dog in this fight, and if you search old forum posts you can see I used to be quite adamant about things being underhanded and not up to par related to deals being posted, making FP, etc, however, I have learned that this is a business like any other, and businesses need to make money. I can guarantee you that if you personally reach out to any SD staff member whether it is to vent, argue, point something out, suggest an idea, etc not only will they respond in a timely manner, they will be very willing to have an open dialogue with you that they may not want to do in a public forum. I just don't see anything being accomplished with what you are posting, but to each their own.

You ackonowledge that they receive compensation for posting "deals" for specific merchants, but the problem is: (a) They don't acknowledge it. In fact; they adamantly deny it even though it is clearly true. That little disclaimer on the forum only refers to commission for referral links. (b) They knowingly promote deals for merchants they know to engage in fraudulent practices. It doesn't matter to them as long as they're getting compensated. This supplement place is only one example. Tango is another. Xtreme Guard is a third. If you do your search on any of these companies - both within in the forum and elsewhere - you will find a pattern of deception and even outright fraud.

And you, truly, must be joking about the staff here. If any forum was ever run like a dictatorship, it's this one. That's fine; it's their forum and they can run it as they see fit. Let's not pretend for a moment, however, that any type of reasonable, productive dialogue is ever going to take place.

I don't really know those companies you mentioned, but you kid of reiterated my point that forums are not going to produce any great dialogue, which I why I suggested sending a PM because I have found they are much more receptive to talking one on one about things. I will add that if you look at the advertising links along with job postings it's pretty easy to see they make money. obviously ads pay to be placed on here, even featured deals pay to be showcased, so maybe they don't say the words we make money, but you seem smart enough to put the pieces in order
