I bought this 4 years ago for $40. It's a very reliable unit. It's quieter than all other ones I had used up to that point. The screw on valve is nice as it ensures a better seal.

I also purchased this AC/DC Power Converter [amazon.com] so I can use it in the garage to pump up the tires for our two vehicles...including the two donut spares (I try to remember to check those at least once/twice a year . They typically suggest 60 psi on those.

Looks like they change the price but amazon added a coupon.

"Save an extra $8.98 when you apply this coupon."

If you are on the fence. This is better than any front page deal on viair air compressor in the past if you own a car.

This model is more user friendly for car owners as it just plugs in to cigarette lighter and comes with a bag. Also cost half of what the p88 cost that the current front page deal.

This is a must have if you own a car.

How does this compare to the one at Harbor Freight [harborfreight.com]?

This appears to have a screw on valve to connect to the tire instead of the clip on type. Maybe I'm the only person who prefers the clip on style though.

That one works well but after a tire full up or ten minutes of use it will cutoff to cool down
