I didn't see this deal posted, so I thought I'd share. This is my first post, so please forgive me if I miss something.

Amazon has the SmartCat Ultimate Scratching Post on sale for $27.11. According to the camels, this is the lowest price ever. I foster cats and have tried many scratching posts through the years. This is by far the best. It's extremely sturdy. My Maine Coon mix can't knock it over (and she's tried). It's also very durable. My first SmartCat Scratching Post was purchased in 2010 and is only now showing wear. You can purchase a separate perch to go on top, but it isn't necessary. Even a large cat can fit his fat butt on top of this scratcher.

Best. Cat. Scratching Post. Ever.

I picked this one up three years ago for $50. I would buy another one, but my first one is still in terrific shape...first world problem.

This is an amazing price on the best scratching post ever. The cats love them and they last for a really long time.

Very sturdy. Only issue I have with it is that the material is too sturdy and sometimes my cat's claws get stuck in it. It actually happens quite often

That's the main reason cats scratch. Their claws shed and better on a post than when they are climbing.

I bought this exact same model two years ago. It was $49. Cats still use it today and it looks pretty new. Great price.

I'd buy another one except the original is holding up so well that I don't need it.

My cat's claws actually get stuck in this, posing a danger to her because she can't get off the post. Has this happened to anyone else?
