So $250 off, plus $240 in Verizon payments and $30 activation. Total savings of -$20.

OK deal if you want LTE service. Horrible deal if you dont care about LTE service or already have Tmobile free service for life.

TMobile free data for life deal is over, and you cannot transfer to new devices.

A lot of people signed up for it and I have already transferred it to a new device once. I called Tmobile and told the rep my 2 year old dropped my iPad Air in the toilet and it stopped working. Asked if I could please transfer my free data to my replacement iPad Pro and the rep updated my IMEI and SIM to my free data plan for me.

Does anyone know if I sign up for this, if I can transfer the service after one year to a different iPad as long as I keep making monthly payments? Or am I stuck with the cell service on this iPad for the duration of 2 years?

T-Mobile free data on iPad is only 200mb. You basically check your email twice and it's used up. Not really a great deal for those who really want cellular on an iPad. I currently have an iPad on Sprint from my employer and a Verizon iPad on my personal plan. Have used AT&T as well with the Apple SIM and found the big 3 carriers to offer much more reliable service than T-Mobile.
