My understanding is this is a great commuting bike. It's 500 on their site so I'm snagging one after not seeing anything under 420 locally in a Giant then 500-650 for Treks. Local shops. I'll spend the 60 bux for a tune up once I assemble this thing.

Any thoughts on how much of an issue a "Large" of this bike would be for a 6'1&3/4" guy?

It's $360 with the corporate discount on the Diamondback website, seems like a good deal here.

Think you'd have issue with full leg extension. You want the seat to be at a point where you can almost fully extend your leg when pedaling.

The DB website has extremely helpful videos for assembly and adjustment.

When you say need disc brake adjustment, you mean fine tuning them once assembled right? I didn't see any special tools on their web videos.

Depends on your inseam. Best to try one out in person if possible. If you know your torso is longer than average, and legs are not so long, it may be a good fit.
