Decent deal. The mark iii is becoming a little dated though. Also the printer is massive and annoying. I have the same one.

I shoot video professionally for a contracting company, and I've never fully understood the draw to the Canon 5D Mark III.

When I first got to the company, they had two in-house along with some 305s. Yes the 5D's has good low light capabilities with the FF sensor, but the camera itself is not built for video out of the box and you have to put so much gear on it to make it even a decent video rig (no peaking, no zebras, no articulating screen, ). Sure it has clean HDMI out of the box or capabilities for Magic Lantern, but

If you're doing photo/video, I guess I can see the point, but if you're strictly going for video then a cheaper mirrorless or if you have to go Canon go 70/80D for cheaper end route, no clean HDMI but honestly I'd rather invest in nicer lenses that will take you to that next level.. they body is more than adequate and you can spend the extra 1000 on some zooms or primes and other equipment.

I don't care what people say. This is still a fantastic camera. This deal is too involved for me. I would just get it for around $1800 from one of the big eBay sellers.

Not worth it--the 5D Mark III is pretty dated these days, not worth anywhere near that amount of money in my opinion. You can get better overall image quality and similar performance from a $700 crop sensor camera, and the lenses will be cheaper too. Alternatively if you must have full frame a Nikon D610 can be had for about $700 as well and will outperform the 5D MK III considerably on image quality.
