Just want to point out that it is membrane not mechanical switches. There is an option but it's $100.

I love my aging Razer Nostromo. I've had all the versions of the Nostromo (Belkin and Razer) and really liked the idea of the Orbweaver. Found one for cheap on eBay and immediately I hated it. The switches are way too "light" resulting in all sorts if accidental keypresses. The D-pad is so sensitive it's silly. I can't get used to it. I would not recommend the Orbweaver if you like your Nostromo. Orbweaver is too big for my hand and I can't easily reach the top row. The palm wrest is nowhere near as comfortable and wobbles around. I wish I could've tried it out first but couldn't find it in stores. $100 paperweight.

Is this thing only left handed ? I've always wondered about this mouse. Can you replace your keyboard and only use this for games like league or counterstrike ? Games where you use only 6 keys and a mouse ?

It is a compliment to a mouse, a replacement for a large keyboard for gaming. Mouse in right hand, this keyboard in left.

Keys are completely programmable. I've used these products for over 20 years, would never even consider using a normal keyboard for gaming.

Do you use the dpad for wsad or do you just map that to other buttons?

How does this compare to a mechanical keyboard?

When you say "I would never consider a keyboard for gaming", is that to say you're a competitive/pro gamer or just want picky?

I own the Nostromo and have been eyeballing this for a while. As much as I want to get this, I feel it's a downgrade by comparison. However, the keypads on my Nostromo have peeled away, mostly WASD. Not enough to justify a replacement. But this doesn't come in at this price that frequently, (unless I've missed it?) Anyone actually own this and had the Nostromo or the Belkin version prior, can confirm if this is a downgrade or improvement?
