What is wrong with you? You're coming across like some kind of insecure, fanboy. ZTE already has enough money to market on their own and couldn't give a crap about you. The ZTE Axon 7 Mini is not some kind of God Phone. The links I provided were for those who like to have choices. Apparently you don't.

If anyone sees this and is considering purchasing the Axon 7 Mini, please do yourself a favor and ignore Samaelt's comments. There are plenty of in-depth video reviews on YouTube and other various sites that will help guide you in making an informed decision.

I don't think it was their intent to say those other phone options were better than the ZTE, just that they were also available since the discount applies to multiple phones.

Now, in response to your suggestion that the ZTE is awesome...it's not. I had (multiple) Axon 7s when they first came out and I found the phone overrated. Its biggest claim to fame is the Dolby audio, but come on, it still sucks. Just because it sucks less than other phone speakers doesn't change the fact that you're listening to your phone. A $20 Bluetooth speaker brick is leaps and bounds better. Sure, you don't always have (or want to cart around) an external speaker, but it's laughable that anyone would suggest that their phone - Dolby or no - actually sounds good.
Exactly. I have an Axon 7 (not the mini) that I'm really happy with, but the Dolby feature is a joke. After a few weeks with the phone I just shut it off.

One the other hand, the DAC for high res audio over the 3.5mm output is actually great.

FYI, I cannot recommend this phone after the recent Nougat 7.1.1 upgrade because it broke the hotspot functionality for me: https://community.zteusa.com/disc...gat-update

Does your $20 bt speaker have a high quality headphone amp?

Let me guess... even though it's better than 99.999% of other phones, it's not as good as a dedicated external dac/amp so it's worthless.
I like how you're comparing two things that aren't the same an exaggerating what I said (or did your pea brain see "worthless" in there somewhere?). Calm down, kiddo.
